This link allows you to reserve your "Let's Follow Jojo" unit. It includes all of your materials for your center. You will only need to make copies if you choose to modify your daily activity for independent practice and for parent letters, flyers, etc.
A teacher's manual and student activity workbook designed for preschoolers, which focuses on compassion and acceptance for all regardless of their (dis)abilities, race, and/or gender. Your center will receive the Class Book, individual activity sheets, class anchor charts, and teacher friendly lesson plans. It is an all inclusive mini-unit! Contact your child's school/childcare center if you'd be interested in having this program at their school.
The Objective
The objective is to provide lessons that are engaging and are a part of a comprehensive preschool
learning experience. “Let’s Follow Jojo” takes your students on a journey to local community establishments
which also incorporates environmental text; a fundamental skill in teaching pre-literacy concepts.
The Unit
Our 10-day mini unit, which can be modified to 10-12 days, focuses on compassion and acceptance of all regardless of (dis)abilities, gender and/or race. It is important for our children not only to learn about differences but to actively model kindness to others. The lessons are designed to meet the needs of diverse learners with a variety of teaching strategies.
The Finale
On the last day, Jojo will come out with his awesome racetrack and safe, clean, fun bumper cars that are designed for ages 3-10 years old. Our new and improved bumper cars are commercial grade with LED lights and kid-friendly music. The fun begins when we arrive in our super fun truck. Get ready for the pictures! Our Jojo mascot will also make a special appearance!
